Greta Blue has been trading since 2006. We are a small, family-run company with a friendly and professional approach to our busines. We started Greta Blue to supply luxury organic cotton bedding to businesses that care where their products come from and how they are produced. Our interest in bedding, accessories and the organic cotton industry has grown from over ten years’ experience in furniture retail. During this time we found a limited choice of well-designed, organic cotton bedding on offer. After a lot of research we found a textile company based in India whose aims and ethical integrity were similar to our own. This established business moved towards organic production in 1993 when they set up the first organic cotton project in central India. This pilot project showed how cotton could be grown organically – without using chemical fertilisers and pesticides – on a commercial basis and how it could greatly benefit the farmer and the environment. We have worked with this company to develop our organic cotton bedding – a ‘green’ range that is stylish, luxurious, durable and soft; created in harmony with the environment for your home. |
